Are you curious about the pottery wheel but not ready to commit to a class series? Join us for this 90-minute coached drop-in session designed to give you a hands-on introduction to throwing on the wheel.
With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you’ll learn how to prepare your clay, practice centering, and try forming simple shapes like a small bowl or cup. This session is perfect for beginners who want a taste of the pottery wheel in a fun, supportive environment.
Already have some experience? You’re welcome to join this session too — our instructor will be available to provide coaching, feedback, and guidance while you work on your own throwing practice.
Please Note:
This hands-on class is designed to give you an introduction to the pottery wheel and the experience of working with clay. The focus is on learning the techniques of centering, shaping, and creating forms on the wheel. You can select ONE piece created to be trimmed, fired, and glazed by the instructor.
Once your piece is ready (typically within 3 weeks), your instructor will contact you for pick-up.
